Hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing Rwanda's civil war fled across the border into Zaire yesterday, an avalanche of human misery that is threatening to destabilise all of central Africa. From dawn, as rebel forces took the final stronghold, the hordes swarmed into Zaire. Most of them were from Hutu tribes.
